"A Celebration of the Arts and Humanities" was the first event of the 2018 Induction Weekend of the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾. Held on Friday, October 5 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, "A Celebration of the Arts and Humanities" served as the 2070th Stated Meeting of the American Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ of Arts and Sciences.
Following a welcome from Nancy Andrews, a greeting from Robert Millard, and an introduction by Jonathan Fanton, the celebration featured remarks from newly elected Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ members Viet Thanh Nguyen, Jacqueline Stewart, Damian Woetzel, Tania Leon, and Richard J. Powell; with closing remarks from John Lithgow.
