Since the Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s founding, members have provided contributions to sustain and grow the institution. James Bowdoin, the Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s first president, made a gift of 100 pounds and a collection of books from his personal library. Today, the Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ depends on supporters to:

• Develop and advocate for new solutions to the most pressing issues of the time;
• Convene leaders spanning every sector and academic discipline to push the boundaries of new ideas; and
• Disseminate reports and articles that influence policy, teaching and learning, communications, and philanthropy.
