Despite still being in recovery from the devastating impact of Hurricane Harvey, the Houston Program Committee convened an audience of 120 Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ Members and representatives of the local biosciences community for a symposium on Genomics in Medicine. Panelists shared research on new genomics technologies that are advancing the ability to customize medical care based on a patient's unique genetic makeup. The discussion focused on current and future clinical applications including diagnostic methods, personalized cancer treatments, prevention of neurodegenerative diseases, and more.
