Zoom Videoconference
The American Â鶹´«Ã½Íøվ’s Philadelphia Program Committee hosted this conversation with Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman, the pioneering scientists whose pursuit of mRNA technology led to life-saving vaccines for COVID-19. The discussion was an opportunity to learn about their discoveries and challenges, hear how their partnership made Philadelphia a birthplace for mRNA vaccines, and understand the future applications they envision.
This virtual event was the first of a new series, in which local Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ communities host programs that spotlight the recent accomplishments of members in their cities and on their campuses—introducing their colleagues to the wider Â鶹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ network.
