CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – A record number of donors contributed to the 鶹ýվ’s Annual Fund during the 2008 fiscal year. Their generous support raised a record-breaking $1,511,164 for the 鶹ýվ, the second year in a row that the Annual Fund has exceeded $1.5 million.
“Since membership dues cover only 12 percent of the 鶹ýվ’s budget, a strong and growing Annual Fund is absolutely critical to sustain and advance the 鶹ýվ’s work,” said Leslie Berlowitz, Chief Executive Officer and William T. Golden Chair. “We are grateful to all of the Fellows whose generous support is helping to advance the work of the 鶹ýվ.”
The Annual Fund supports 鶹ýվ projects and studies, the Visiting Scholars Program, æ岹ܲ and other 鶹ýվ publications, and events for Fellows at locations around the country.
