Economic historian and labor economist Claudia Goldin is receiving the the Talcott Parsons Prize from the �鶹��ý��վ. She has done trailblazing research, analysis, and writing exploring the role of women within the U.S. economy and globally. The prize, first awarded in 1974, honors sociologist Talcott Parsons, a former president of the �鶹��ý��վ.

Among the 31 recommendations in the �鶹��ý��վ's cross-partisan publication, Our Common Purpose, was a proposal to enlarge the House of Representatives to ensure better and more responsive representation for Americans across the country. The idea was explored in a "Vox, America Explained" video which featured the �鶹��ý��վ's work.

The �鶹��ý��վ has released a publication designed to help colleges and universities address a defining academic and societal challenge: preparing young people today with the knowledge, skills, and habits to sustain a healthy constitutional democracy. Preparing Students for Civic Life: A Guide for Higher Education Leaders includes strategies and case studies.
