Harry Brighouse teaches philosophy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He mainly teaches undergraduate classes in Ethics, Applied Ethics, and Political Philosophy, and regularly teaches a freshman seminar on Children, Marriage and the Family. His research has focused mainly on political philosophy and philosophy of education. He has authored or co-authored numerous scholarly papers in journals like Ethics, Philosophy and Public Affairs, Journal of Philosophy of Education, Theory and Research in Education, Educational Theory, Politics and Society, and Journal of Political Philosophy. He has also authored or co-authored several books, including School Choice and Social Justice (Oxford University Press, 2000), Family Values (Princeton University Press, 2015), and Educational Goods (University of Chicago Press, 2018),
