Melissa Chan is the Program Coordinator for Education at the American Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ of Arts and Sciences. She was previously the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾'s Program Coordinator for Global Security and International Affairs. Melissa currently supports the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾'s projects on the Higher Education Forum, as well as the Commission on Opportunities After High School. She previously worked on other Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ projects, including Rethinking the Humanitarian Health Response to Violent Conflict, as well as Promoting Dialogue on Arms Control and Disarmament, and supported exploratory meetings on American democracy and militarism, climate change and security, and combating grand corruption.

Before joining the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ÍøÕ¾ in late 2021, Melissa was a political affairs intern at the nonprofit advocacy organization, The Borgen Project. She received her B.A. in International Relations from Boston University, focusing on foreign policy and security studies.
